Julianne creates custom paintings, sculptures, decorated wood pieces, resin-style decor, mixed-media art, home accents, and meaningful handmade gifts. She likes work with movement, texture, shimmer, color, and a sense of surprise.
Many pieces begin with a loose idea and grow through the process. Paint, resin effects, pressed flowers, metallic details, raised surfaces, reclaimed materials, and wood techniques can all become part of the finished work.
She also works with unique methods like fractal wood burning, the electricity-based technique that creates branching patterns in wood. The result is art that cannot be duplicated exactly, because the technique and the maker both leave their own mark.
